The highlight of tomorrow though will be buying shoes with my dad, I love my dad.

Cannot wait for a garden one day so that I can be stressed about how high pea stalks grow and when exactly to pull up a carrot and I also cannot wait to have a chicken and rent a rooster for a few days and then have little chicklets and a brooding hen and help create preprogrammed life!

INTERVIEW:
1. I have always been interested in anything creative, especially clothing. When I was little at restaurants I would take an ink pen and scribble glamorous women all over the butcher’s paper. My grandfather made me a wooden sewing box and I’d hand-stitch ribbons together to make outfits for the cat or teddy bears. When I was 15 I asked for a sewing machine for my birthday and started making dresses out of old sheets or scarves from the op-shop for friends to go to parties in. I never really thought of fashion design as a potential career until I was 17. The year above held a fashion parade showing off their VCE work; I had never been to a parade before and was intoxicated with the energy in that room. It made me nervously excited to feel such a burning desire to create, so instead of telling my parents I forged my dad’s signature and swapped subjects; Maths Methods for Fashion, it was an awesome choice. I ended up winning ‘Top Designs’ for Victoria and got a perfect score in Fashion, so my parents weren’t too upset.

2. My current collection is a capsule collection for the Melbourne boutique; Alice Euphemia. It consists of feminine, conservative, minimalist silhouettes of womenswear simular aesthetically to designers such as Celine or Dries Van Noten. I have been heavily influenced by prints this season, from painterly stripes in lapis lazuli to geometric symbols in black and white. I am inspired by a need to create, at the moment specifically the lack of interesting clothing available to the 50+ age group, with good quality fabrics and an understanding of different body shapes. I hope to align my brand with the new Industry Code of Conduct on Body Image, which relates to fashion designers (among other industries) providing realistic advertising images, a variety of races and ages models, and a larger range of sizes in garments.

3. My favourite designers this season include Preen- especially with the incredible pleating detail on the flowing dresses. Miu Miu and Prada (both designed by the same woman) are incredible, they always seem to present collections that are spot on the money although not trend orientated at all. Phoebe Philo for Celine this season is unrivalled for the most sophisticated sleek lines and beautiful mix of textures. Also all-time favourites include Damir Doma (for the drapery), Dries Van Noten (for the prints and strength in feminine silhouettes), Ohne Titel (originality) and Yves Saint Laurent.

4. I’m currently in my final year at RMIT university studying fashion, and Gorilla Guerilla was an event I organised to showcase some student designers work. It was held at a friend’s bar; 1000 pound bend, and ended up attracting around 600 people. The viral nature in which creative news spreads around Melbourne is so fascinating, the event was so simple to organise, with the models, DJ’s, ushers, dressers, bar staff and designers all friends who wanted to get involved.

5. New York happened quite organically. I arrived in the big smoke alone and after wandering around hopelessly for a few days decided to make something of the 3 months in which the American government had allowed me. After settling down into a warehouse apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (the hippest place in New York) and meeting a few fashion ‘movers and shakers’ at parties I decided to email my favourite menswear designer Thom Browne to enquire about jobs. Luckily I had arrived at the perfect time and the experience was incredible; from meeting my absolute fashion icons including fashion writers Tim Blanks & Suzy Menkes, to dining with Thom and the buyers from Bergdorf Goodmans, to sewing thousands of racoon tails onto capes for New York fashion week. The actual fashion week was probably the most insane week I’ve had in my life, working 20 hour days, hand stitching while chowing down on Donut King and drinking bottles of Moet with the other designers. The design team was reasonably small, with Thom (the head designer) then 2 assistant designers and myself as the junior assistant. I was luckily in charge of fitting male models during fashion week as well, groping at the likes of Lars Burmeister and Cole Mohr (who became a good friend).

6. The Chanel story is a funny one; I received an email from an old collegue from Scanlan and Theodore saying that Chanel were interested in hiring for their Collins Street store, so I applied. Unfortunately the HR department called soon after me slightly off guard and asked me for an interview with a very thick French accent, and subsequently I wrote down the wrong address and found myself lost in the CBD, dressed to the nines without an umbrella in the rain. The HR woman called me after 10 minutes and explained where to go, and by the time I got to the interview I was so embarrassed I had no nerves, and got the job straight away! The office ended up being the most beautiful place, with white marble and women teeting around decked out in Karl Lagerfields finest, with strings of pearls and red lipstick everywhere! Actually, they gave me Chanel lipstick too!

This year is my final year, so after graduation I’m going to chill out for a month or so, helping my family renovate a house, and then either head off to Belgium to try to work for Dries Van Noten, or back to New York (Thom Browne offered me a permanent position and sponsorship) or I would also love to work for some Melbourne labels to gain an understanding of the industry here; ‘Feathers’ is at the top of my list, but we will see! The future is looming but it’s sort of sparkling too!

You know when its July and you realise you havent kept to any of your New Years resolutions?

You know when its raining outsideand the little drops on the window look like gold and you wonder what it would be like to actually win 20 million if you actually spend $19 on a ticket and whether you'd be a good person and set up a charity or art trust or whether you'd get greedy and buy a mercedes and car registration and insurance and pay for parking and drive to uni and get fat legs and never get rained on and never grin so much you get a brain freeze because the night is so cold and you're riding you bike so fast because you have a yellow reflective vest on and its pretty much like cocaine?

You know when you havent written on your blog for a month and you promised yourself you would be interesting and then record it....neither of which actually happens?

Well I havent written here in a while, school is starting tomrrow and my new year resolution (as my flat mate puts it its been a year since July 18th 2009) is to live life better.

get to places on time
spend my free time eating and loving and reading and sitting in the air
and to eventually move to Antwerp and work for Dries

La vue a l'exterieur de ma fenetre avec le balcon a droite, j'ai pris les chiens la-bas en dimanche, ils sont venus pour une visite et Sam Wise a le donne des os pour manger, ils etaient tres heureux.

Le soleil est bel et j'ai des arcs-en-ciel partout dans ma pièce parce que j'ai un cristal qui tournant dans la lumière du soleil,

Have been doing a whole lot recently. Frantically making bloody terrible clothing, running around drinking gin, wearing black & orange snakeskin. I've embraced my white/grey appearance and have stopped wearing blush or bronzer and have started brushing black on my cheekbones, I love how dramaticly dead I look when I accidentialy catch my reflection on a car door. Or I run into one on my bike.
Which is now pink, with white tyres!

Some lovely girl was talking to me today about how shit the world of blogs has gotten, and I suppose bar Tavi, Nicola Formichetti & Sea of Shoes I have stopped the insanity amount of blog-stalking that used to occur too. They've all moulded into one shit lame version of Vogue (not that Vogue is bad, but it already exists, and they do it good), but blogs are just updated quicker....so fuck it. This blog is now officially about nothing, Im not even going to try and act interesting.

I like them because they mean nothing, they don't make me 'an' anything.

I've been thinking allot recently about gentrification, I think its a disappointing concept. If we were in 1984 and had Newspeak it would be eliminated and would hopefully then cease to exist.

How does it make sense that in urban environments people do not feel comfortable being an individual and therefore they join subcultures and confine themselves to a lifestyle that they dont necessarily agree with but is at least adverse to the norm (which they do value). Surely the bigger the world/city the more variety of influence ----> the more you learn and therefore understand and associate yourself with liking.
Are people with no personality just gentrified beings? Do they not particularly like or hate anything and therefore just follow?

Does this also include people who see things from outside influences and put it all together differently i.e. having one subcultures music influence and another's art or fashion as self expression?

Why don't people value garments as a way of proving that you have an interest in something? Why don't people who love cute little things wear cute little things?

Why don't people take responsibility for influencing the world around them, why don't we express ourselves creatively in every single avenue we come across and therefore inspire to reach greater intellects?

Got a call from Robert Childs (head designer for Thom Browne) yesterday from New York (drunk at 4am) and was so very excited to hear all the gossip about where the company is headed and that they are now showing in Paris not New York and now have a full womenswear line rather than capsule collection!

It is school time again, boo, and I have to start another blog to put all my university work on so that our class can critique each other. The title of this blog is actually perfect for the first post on my other blog, the studio I am doing this semester is focusing on the idea of shadows...

I think (after reading some of the chapters we have been given to reference) that the idea of shadows represents an element of the fashion system, in that there must be a divide of the interpretations of 'fashion' being rather than a garment, the sociology of the consumer. Therefore something in which possesses the term 'fashionable' could be simply a shadow of clothing, or less, personal opinion/thought which has literally no physical element.

Here is a quick photoshoot Melissa Belissa and I did last week with a garment that I made for Design Art & Society. We needed to 'respond to knit as a modernist', I had just gotten back from New York where I saw the 20 year Margiela retrospective at Merry Go Round with Cole and was quite inspired by his recycling of garments.

That and I have a wallet that is lighter than a swallow in winter AND Sue Thomas (our teacher) is a fruitloop for sustainability and I knew making a garment out of an already existing knit would be easy & (like moschino cheap and chic but with out the chic) & would get some sort of brownie point, or brownie, or at least just not brown nosed?

So the Thom Browne show is over, Thom offered to sponsor me if I stay but I want to come home and finish uni.

I really love New York but there is a strange sort of loneliness that comes about me when I'm not crazy busy, and in New York it's exacerbated to an almost unbearable level. I miss nature, when I look out the window over Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan right now I cannot see a single tree, I can see a faint glimmer of the East River but growing up in Australia really makes you down to earth, and there's not enough earth here in this winter wonderland for me to never come home again.

I booked a ticket to Vegas and so am going to travel across the country (comme Jack Keruac) to meet up with some boys & drive around in matching hats and jackets in a red pick-up truck. Hopefully there will be beer & mushrooms & desert & sparkles involved, maybe even body paint.

All the snow has shut the entire city down, everything is closed. So what better for 3 girls to do when locked up than get naked and drape ourselves in raccoon tails.

Same raccoon tails that I have been creating pin cushions of my fingers with for the past few days adding to every seam and hem imaginable.

Same raccoon tails that put me in my first bad mood since leaving Australia.

Yesterday I was in a bad mood, to make me feel better today Robert (designer for Thom Browne) made me a key-lime pie to fulfil one of my New York fantasies.

It was incredible

Fashion week preparation is killing me, there is so much to do and Thom keeps adding pieces to the collection and making crazy insane decisions that require me to sew so much my wrists ache like they have opposing magnets within my skin and my fingers don't open and close so easily anymore.

I hate leather. I hate raccoon tails (unless naked), I hate scarves, I hate Thom Browne labels, I hate mink coats, I hate sewing elbow patches, I hate cataloging fabrics for spring 2011, I hate garment bags, I hate steamers, I hate stinky models.

1. Kopi on the roof of the factory, on the way to the Deli for $2 bagels with peanut butter and jelly & mango and carrot juice.

2. One section of an entire warehouse filled with sample fabrics for Thom Browne- mostly greys - mostly AMAZING

3. Daniel (one of the designers) with the first product sample on his left, and then the modified version on the right- for a little PIZAZ at the show. (Not gonna lie- my first impulse when I saw this bag was to get inside).

4. Pattern blocks at the factory- there would be at least 100 meters of pattern blocks hung like this around the walls in the tailoring production factory in Queens.

5. View of New York from private car * woah * going across the Queens bridge to Manhattan for fittings

6. Kopi experimenting with the Spring 2010 jackets for styling of the show on the 15th of February at the Thom Browne PR firm in Chelsea

7. Thom Browne menswear wrap dresses (THIS IS WHY I ADORE THIS MAN- THESE DRESSES TURN MEN INTO GODS WHEN WORN- GODS)

Everything is hand made- from the patterns (which are tailor made in Italian and are not copied or reproduced even down to the collar patterns - which are done on the stand per jacket), the textiles are designed on illustrator (my gingham patterns for cotton for spring 2011 have been ordered- YES), hand cut & sewn by lovely men that listen to soul music and say "cawfee".

9. Kopi and I went to 'shake shack' the best burger in the world, sometimes the queue can span kilometers to order one, the milkshakes are a dream and are so thick you need a spoon to 'drink' them.

ten. Through my job I get to go to the garment district every day to visit some pretty cool places; this is a corridor of a leather shop- with this particular section being vibrantly coloured lamb skins - ITS THAT SPECIFIC. ITS THAT AMAZING. !
There are also trim shops that would have a trillion buttons, clasps, zips (including 4 inch thick zips- incredible) EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER NEED OR IMAGINE OR DESIRE.

11. Robert Childs (the other designer) and Ezra (illustrator for Victoria's Secret) at dinner at Fette Sau- a garage that sells cooked meat by the kilo and beer by the gallon, with communal tables & incredible music. I love these men too

12. The flesh and I (you can see the reflection of the blood bath in my eyes) ha ha

13. The snow falling outside the apartment in Williamsburg onto the neighborhood

14, Graffiti from the meat packing district slightly modified on MS paint

I was flunking four subjects and not applying myself and all. They gave me frequent warning to start applying myself-but I didn't do it. So I got the ax.

The store is gigantic- and set out beautifully over 3 levels of high ceilings and pristine white walls and floors. Everything is basic, cheap and high quality- its like American apparel's god and heaven- its the ultimate store for style because it is not branded, not highly designed, and therefore all the onus is on you! Freedom of expression is a rare thing in fashion I think the more and more I work on it, people are so driven by branding and 'looks' and trends that they forget that each item that they put on can be layered to create an individual--

Hello Cyber world!

Back in Oz I spray painted some of my dads ex-girlfriends shoes that I snuck from her garbage bin and am wearing them all the time in New York! They are pretty simple boots with elastic at the heel and the height is perfect, not a high heel to feel too lanky in the subway when it sways under the Hudson River, and not small enough to feel odd wearing ankle cropped boots with my large disgusting biker calves. bahaa.

A photo from THE BRYANT PARK! WOAH! Where there is an ice-skating rink for christmas and lots of little children fall over, soon they will clear it all up and start preparing for NEW YORK FASHION WEEK, YES OH YES! I applied for a job working as a promoter for FIJI water so that I could get unlimited backstage passes to all the shows....we'll see how that goes!

(I love the street art everywhere, its like the entire world has gone against advertising and paints over everything, maybe its all inpsired by Supreme? This was taken on Bedford Ave, Williamsburg, just around the corner from where I live, I love walking past it everyday on the way to work!)

Photoshoot from a few months ago, where the dress and jacket have been cut to fit a chair. The jacket is exactly the dimentions of the back of the chair, with the shoulders displaced higher on the neck and padded so that it can also be put on the body. The dress draping at the front is the same dimentions as the chair seat, and the length of the legs.

New York is so cheap! You can buy pizza slices bigger than my cat latte for $1 on almost every street corner, topped with italian home-made boccocini or avocado or vodka sauce (best thing). You can buy nutrient/vitamin water to counteract all the pizza for $1 too!

Im living with a Danish girl called Michelle, and an Amercian girl called Tracey. The dane is doing an internship with an online fashion trend forcasting magazine and Tracey is doing PR, her firm handles alot of fashion week clients so we're all running around like mad hens at the moment in preparation for next month.

Fernando is the last person I live with and is lots of fun, he is a major legue baseball player and recently gave Michelle a signed copy of one of his baseball cards, which she found amusing and unneccessary, but New Yorkers are weird like that. Everyone needs to anaylse and one-up the next person, and everyone is really into self-promotion. Maybe thats how you get higher up or maybe everyones just too bloody self-confident here.

Her boyfriend (ANDYYY) won a green card in the online lottery and ended up moving here about 6 months ago to do an internship at a place called Common Projects- which he has since basically taken over and now gets paid! YAY but minimally, so if I win the lottery tomorrow (as planned) then I will share 20% with him, and 20% with Jackson, because we bought them toether...

Jackson is an awesome bloke who I have basically been spending every day with so far because he is Australian and super calm and cool and collected and all the other good c-words, including good cook. We have been very touristy, visiting MoMa, the bodies exhibition, the rock and roll exhibition at Brooklyn Muuseum, Times Square etc etc.

We saw this horrible movie together called On The Road- DO NOT GO AND SEE IT- even if Rolling Stone said it was amazing----its horrible and scary and boring....basically its the end of the earth (but noone bothers explaining why) and Charlize Theron kills herself pretty early on in the movie so theres not even aesthetic viewing pleasure, and a man and his son basically travel around America looking for food and the sea, which they eventually find and the man dies. Great.
All the humans turn to cannibals and start eating each other and they have to keep running away from freaky situations where people have locked other people up and are eating thier legs etc for something to do.....

Other funny things included going to Babeland- a crazy sex shop in manhattan that sells everything from candles and moisturiser to 'the rabbit' and rubber duckies (less innocent than you might think) IT FREAKS ME OUT BECAUSE LATER THAT DAY I NOTICED A RUBBER DUCK IN THE BATHROOM AND THE GUY THAT OWNS THIS HOUSE IS TOTALLY CRAZY AND WHEN I MOVED IN HE TOLD ME HE HAD PREPARED ME A PLEASURE BOX FULL OF MASSAGERS AND CONDOMS AND CANDLES SO THAT I CAN FEEL MORE AT HOME........ARGH

SO I figured that the only people that check this blog out are my mates, so I'm just gonna post everything that's been happening since I moved to New York, and not do it on facebook to avoid spending too much time bonding with my computer when I could be making love to this city.

BASICALLY IVE MOVED to new york city. Im living in Williamsburg in a warehouse apartment with some crazy cats who I will explain to you all about later so that pictures can explain the majority of the situation.

BUT here are some photos of the WHORE HOUSE, a party apartment a few of us visited on New Years......it was pretty outrageous, everyone was smoking joints & humping on the dance floor. In one of the rooms there was just a back beat playing and all these guys were rapping together with the crowd screaming and jumping and breaking it down- but it wasn't wanky because its real.....this is new york.....this is what people do here?

Its crazy to live in a place where everything is so cool that the rest of the world imitates it and dilutes it to shit.

Gorilla Guerilla Fashion Show

It has been a hectic month, and before that it was quite insane too! I have so much gossip to share but will space it out over the next couple of days to make life a little more exciting and blog posts not so extreme!

On the 1 December 2009 I organised a fashion show for up and coming designers in Melbourne who are also completing the same fashion degree at RMIT. It was particularly for second year designers and featured menswear, stretch wear, cycle wear, lingerie, particularly concentrating on tailoring as well as decorative techniques and accessories.

Here are the only 2 images I have of 1 out of 5 outfits that I showed, a constriction jacket with a panel of laser cut leather on the front. It was designed to create a perfect silhouette for a man, to constrict the body and elongate the figure to avoid social body pressures; no gym, no protein shakes, no diet....just one tailored jacket by Edwina.

It was at a friends bar called 1000 Pound Bend, with a preshow party with music by DJ FANTASTIC MR FOX - an amazing friend by the name of Andy Wilson.

The parade featured video art by McDaddy-thew Linde & Ellery Baxsterdog and the parade had DJ Todd Watson playing with the opening of Sweet Disposition (Temper Trap)

The Gorilla Guerrilla name comes half from inspiration from my favourite designer Christopher Kane (Gorilla) and half from the origins of the word Guerrilla- which can be "an unconventional way of doing marketing promotion on a very low budget"---- and our budget was $0.

Also RMIT wouldn't have their name attached to something so disorganised although the whole thing was a great success.

A fellow Basement friend and blogger (http://culturefiasco.blogspot.com) Melissa Tan also came with her friends British India, which was lovely!

All the models are friends and so are the photographers- these photos were taken by Cal Usteed, and I will upload more from Nic Durros and Walter Marantz. Thank-you to everyone who helped out; organising (Ellery) backstage managing and dressing models (especially Melissa D'Augello 'bliss'), doing make-up, video taping or even just coming!

For Malachys 21st birthday present my lovely neighbour Mick Peel from the busyman blog made a custom bike. Here are some images of the process and the end result..... he was very very happy, I cant stop grinning when I see it, I LOVE bicycles! The seat is hand sewn navy leather with an 'm' design in the form of a family crest, the handle bars are also hand sewn and the frame powdercoated.

Its theme was homelessness.

Decided to be a japanese street walker/geisha that had run into hard geisha times and ended up on the streets of Tokyo in Calico
I made my dress by draping on the stand about 20 minutes before the party started and drew black circles for arm holes
Put acrylic paint on my face and beautiful satin black peep-toed shoes and felt every bit the part....

Oh japanese street geisha style = best existence conceived.

FTV PARTY

Went to an FTV party during assessment and couldn't find the photos we took! I went with Stefani Lanteri (who is about to move to Fitzroy YAY!) who wore a beautiful Willow dress- Willow is one of the best designers in Australia at the moment, she creates elegantly draped dresses and her cut is so fine that they seem to fit everyone. She also wore Wayne Cooper red velvet bow shoes and a vintage YSL bag.

I wore a selvage cut Versace blue and silver dress that my mom gave me a few years ago from an op shop and Target heels! The heels are so high but they're very easy to walk in and I felt taller than every single person (which as a girl on a night out is a little power trip that I very much enjoy). Also wore a Gucci bag and felt a little crazy with the prints and colours.

The night was a little strange, there was a VIP section upstairs at the venue and then downstairs in the theatre was a model competition trying to find Australia's next top model. There were FTV film crews everywhere and unfortunately the crowd was filled with footballers and tacky Ed Hardy women. We left after a few hours and went to Sister Bellas which was delime!

I promise I will get back to documenting fashion uni work as soon as possible, but the weather is so divine and people are so beautiful and kind that I have been spending my summer socialising and have decided to capture that instead.

Organising a fashion show at 1000 pound bend with Ellery to show off our 2nd year work: Here is the venue, a large ware house on Elizabeth st x Little Lonsdale that is just so stunning; it even has roller disco some Saturday night and you can buy hamburgers in a caravan parked in between art installations and couches!

Also I have been spending alot of time at the beach as its so hot and I love the backpacker tourists and glamorous prostitutes that parade around St Kilda. We found a beautiful cafe in a tall building in the shape of an arrow and lilli sat and enjoyed calamari and beer during the peak heat of the afternoon!

Had a little picnic party to celebrate getting through another year of the hell that is RMIT fashion. Lucy, Jemmy, Anna, Stephen, Sherrif, Chloe and I had a magnificent time drinking fruity lexia and eating capsicums in the Carlton gardens.

and then we went for a stroll and found a garden that looked exactly like farmville!!!

Had my 21x2 which is the polite way for me to turn 22 without actually getting any older but hopefully I gained wisdom and wrinkles. Here are some photo highlights of the party

I wore a cat suit made of black velvet and YSL cage booties (from target!) and felt so special the entire night! There was a guest preformance from 'The Pussies' who played a few songs & the director of my uni came, Mick Peel, and his lovely wife, it was pretty special!

So that everyone felt welcome and to glue all the guests together I made name tags and stuck them to everyone, by the end of the night the words were so slurred and messages so convoluted that it became a bit of a game. Here are a few of the stickers I found the next morning, and a boy that slept drunkenly on the couch

The next morning I awoke to love messages written in lipstick all over my walls and windows, it was so delightful. I adore good company

so music is a little exciting at the moment as the only thing I find myself doing is fashion and I AM OVER IT! not forever, but at least for another 24 hours until I finish my assessment (that being said I will spend the next 24 hours in some nutso panic mode in order to actually complete it but whatever, I can be over it, do it, finish it and be done with it!) ok

this is why having a blog is amazing, its like a best friend that always picks up the phone, always ready for a chitty chat.

Maffew Linde exhibition

Went to an exhibition for a friend and modelled one of his furry outfits. He created an exhibition space completely out of furry pillows and balls and string for the purpose of creating a cat wonderland. There was a band singing songs about cats (a la Joy Division style) and many fantastic outfits with fake fur circles & cute toy-soldier silhouettes.

These were the most incredible shoes; another artist at the exhibition had created little boats out of high heels, with the mast where the ankle would normally go, so beautiful!

Then we left and went to another exhibition where Ellery was lost in a gigantic wall of fake cheese

And the night finished off in a tiber cube that had been constructed in a different gallery space made from stacking blocks like tetris to create a sauna/igloo/good varnish smell.

Such a fun night!

Made a bodice out of Sultana Bran packets as my take on YSL and his Warhol/op-art inspired collections. I feel its appropriate today in response to the ridiculous mass consumerism and incredibad marketing that exists. That being said, we made 209% budget today at work = excellent as we get vouchers for good sales! This top was very easy to create, but would be very difficult to wear... the new definition of fast fashion?

Does this make cereal sexy?

Learning about 70's glam/punk rock in England and have been looking at Gary Glitter & David Bowie/Ziggy Stardust. We had to make a series of objects that hadn't a raison d'etre, and I decided to create some insane useless pieces of jewellry/body decoration. Then we had to refine our ideas further and I decided to have a little photoshoot with a friend.

Also I've been noticing on the street recently that the punk movement is coming back, I think all the loser wankers who decided to take on the horrible narcassistic boring traditional melbourne indie character have now traded thier ray-bans and skinny jeans for doc martens and ripped stockings, joy. Oh people are so boring.
